Founded as the Seven Devils Ski Patrol, a tradition of excellence in skiing and emergency service to the public began and this commitment to training and service continues today.

Hawksnest is a fun family mountain that can challenge the advanced skiers and riders but also provides terrain for the beginners and intermediate skiers, as well. 

Over 90% of Hawksnest patrollers are certified instructors and are active in region and division training. Hawksnest Ski Patrol is also known on the National level and our patrol includes a winner of the National Pro Patroller of the Year and National Alpine Patroller of the Year.

Our patrol was recently named the Outstanding Large Alpine Patrol in the Southern Division. This is the fifth time Hawksnest has been chosen for this prestigious award, which also included a National Unit Citation.

We are proud members of the National Ski Patrol and strictly adhere to the Standards, Policies and Code of Conduct established by the National Ski Patrol. A commitment to education, training and service is our promise to our mountain, and to our customers, the skiing public.
